Osiris Projects invests in Apprentice Scheme

Tuesday, Sep 25, 2012

Following on from the launch of the Career Development Academy, Osiris Projects today announces their new apprentice scheme.

Targeting college leavers with A-Level mathematics, physics, geography, IT, geology, or similar, the scheme aims to attract those interested in a career in hydrographic surveying or marine geophysics. Personal mentoring and professional training will be provided with the opportunity to pursue an exciting career and the prospect of advancement in the company structure.

Project Manager Mick Slater supports the scheme, stating “This is an important development for the company. The academic landscape is clearly changing and the decision to attend university is becoming increasingly difficult. We are proud to be able to offer an alternative to young people within the region, providing dedicated support and real prospects for career progression.”
