The award, sponsored by Orbit Developments, was judged on trading performance and future objectives, the competitive advantage of the business, and examples of specific strategies which have driven business growth.

Commenting on the award, Oil and Gas Job Search Managing Director, Duncan Freer said: ‘Our team has been extremely busy over the past 12 months optimising our processes to achieve our business growth.  We are delighted to have been recognised with this award and it’s a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of all of our staff.’

Stockport's top businesses were represented at the awards ceremony on the 4th October 2012 at the Hallmark Hotel. The evening was hosted by BBC Manchester's Becky Want and included appearances on stage by Paralympic medal winners Matthew Walker and Anthony Kappes, and former NBA star John Amaechi.

Ben Poland of the Stockport Business Awards, said: “The calibre of entries in all categories was incredibly high, which is testament to the strength of the Stockport business community and the quality of Oil and Gas Job Search’s entry.”
